The fight for life in the womb, and just after birth, will not end until each person arrives at the understanding that killing babies is a grave sin and not in God’s plan of salvation. In order to make others aware of the evils of abortion, including the destruction of generations of family members, decades of anguish for mothers, loss of self-respect and dignity, the disintegration of the family, we participate in projects such as 40 Days for Life. Through prayer and fasting, community outreach and peaceful witness, campaigns such as these will bring about a culture of life, as God intends. The fall 40 Days for Life campaign, September 23rd - November 1st, in our Diocese has been approved by Bishop Stika who realizes the importance of people standing against Planned Parenthood with its increased abortion push during this pandemic, especially at-home, chemical abortion, which can be especially dangerous. In addition, the abortion facility on Cherry St. is seeking a permit to double its facilities to add surgical abortion. Tennessee Right to Life is challenging their efforts in court. Pray that this expansion will fail, and the hearts and minds of the abortionists and staff will be converted. Please plan to participate in the 40 Days for Life events at Holy Trinity:
